At Sceva’s Garden Home, we want every guest to enjoy a stay that feels peaceful, homely and completely stress-free. Clear policies help us maintain the quiet, nature-rich atmosphere, warm hospitality and high standards of cleanliness that guests consistently appreciate.
We request all guests to read these guidelines before arrival so that your experience — and the experience of those staying alongside you — remains smooth, comfortable and enjoyable.

Booking & Payment Policies
To confirm your reservation, an advance is required.
Advance Payment
- Standard Dates: 50% advance to confirm the booking
- Peak Season (Dec 15 – Jan 15): 100% payment required at booking
Balance Payment
- Settled during your stay at the property
Accepted Payments
UPI, GPay, PhonePe, net banking, Indian/international credit & debit cards, Wise (international), and cash.
Security Deposit
Cancellation & Refund Policy
All cancellation requests must be emailed to [email protected].
Refund Terms
- 30+ days before arrival: 10% retained
- 15–30 days: 50% retained
- 5–14 days: 75% retained
- Within 5 days: No refund
We understand emergencies may arise. Wherever possible, we take a humane, case-by-case approach.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in: 2:00 PM
- Check-out: 12:00 Noon
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible for direct bookings, subject to availability and applicable charges.
ID Requirement
All guests must present valid government ID at check-in.
Children, Extra Guests & Additional Beds
- Children under 6 years stay free (no extra bed).
- Ages 6–12 years:
- ₹1000 + tax (no mattress)
- ₹1500 + tax (with mattress)
- 12+ years: Charged as adults
Maximum Occupancy (Per Room)
- 2 adults + 2 children OR 3 adults + 1 child
Pet Policy — Welcoming Your Furry Family Members
We are happy to host well-behaved pets in designated rooms. To ensure hygiene, safety and comfort for everyone, please follow the guidelines below.
Clean & Groomed Pets Only
Pets must remain clean and groomed throughout the stay.
Separate Pet Essentials Required
Please bring:
- Pet bedding or blanket
- Bowls
- Toys
- Cleaning supplies
We do not permit using room linens, towels or utensils for pets.
Leash & Supervision
Pets must remain leashed in all public spaces and supervised at all times.
Restricted Areas
For hygiene and safety, pets are not allowed in:
- Swimming pool area
- Dining room
- Kitchen or service spaces
Clean-Up Responsibility
Owners must promptly clean and dispose of pet waste.
Pet Fee
A nominal ₹500 per night applies to cover extra cleaning and maintenance.
Our goal is to maintain a peaceful, comfortable environment for all guests. Non-compliance may result in additional charges or restrictions.
Pool Rules — Calm, Safe & Family-Friendly
Our swimming pool is designed for quiet relaxation. To maintain safety and hygiene:
Before Entering the Pool
- Shower before swimming
- Proper swimwear is required
- Children must be accompanied by adults
- Avoid entering the pool with open wounds or after consuming alcohol
While in the Pool
- No diving, running or rough play
- Keep noise levels low
- No food, alcohol or glass items
- Avoid standing or sitting on pool edges
Safety Notes
- Water quality is maintained regularly
- No lifeguard on duty — swim at your own risk
- Pool may be closed during rain, maintenance or safety alerts

House Rules & Code of Conduct
Our home is a peaceful, family-run space. These guidelines help maintain the environment guests value most.
Quiet Hours
10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
No loud music, parties, shouting or campfires.
Respect for Nature
Being in a hillside environment, occasional harmless insects or geckos may appear — this is natural to the setting.
Respect for Shared Spaces
- Treat rooms, linens and furniture with care
- Unregistered visitors are not permitted in guest rooms
- The kitchen is not open for guest use
- Maintain decorum in the pool, garden and dining areas
Dining & Fresh Food Practices
- Breakfast is freshly prepared each morning
- Dinner is served only on days feasible for our family kitchen
- For outside food, a small service/cleanup charge may apply
- We encourage taking only what you can comfortably eat
Taxis & Drivers
- Free parking available
- Basic toilet provided for drivers
- No driver accommodation
- Drivers must follow house rules
We can help arrange trusted local drivers if needed.
Facilities & Usage Guidelines
- WiFi: High-speed and suitable for work
- Parking: Free, on-site
- Bonfire/BBQ: Only for full-property group bookings (extra charge)
- Common Areas: To be used respectfully, with privacy for all guests
- Laundry assistance is available at a small additional charge.
Safety & Liability
- CCTV in key outdoor areas
- Fire extinguishers available
- Emergency contact numbers in rooms
- Participation in treks, safaris or activities is at guests’ own risk
- Nearby medical support available in Adimaly
Sustainability Practices
- Waste managed according to local norms
- Organic garden produce used whenever possible
- Guests encouraged to minimise electricity and water usage
- Occasional wildlife/insect presence is part of natural hillside living
