Discover Kerala's Fruits, Spices, Medicinal Plants & Tropical Treasures

At Sceva’s Garden Home, nature isn’t something you drive to see—it’s the world that surrounds you from the moment you wake up.

Spread across our peaceful hillside property near Munnar, our living garden is home to an extraordinary collection of tropical fruit trees, aromatic spices, medicinal herbs, flowering plants, palms, vegetables, and native species that thrive in Kerala’s unique climate. More than a beautifully landscaped space, it is a garden that continues to grow, produce, and tell stories throughout the year.

Unlike commercial spice gardens designed as tourist attractions, this is a family garden that has evolved naturally over many years. Every plant has been grown because it has a purpose—whether for food, traditional medicine, shade, wildlife, or simply the joy of seeing nature flourish.

A Garden Walk with Stories, Not Scripts

One of the most memorable moments for many of our guests is a relaxed walk through the garden with your host, Benny.

These informal conversations often wander from one fascinating discovery to another. You might taste fruit picked straight from the tree, crush a fresh spice leaf between your fingers to release its aroma, learn how certain herbs have been used in Kerala homes for generations, or simply pause to watch butterflies, bees, and birds that have made the garden their home.

Every season brings something different into bloom or harvest, making each visit unique.

Because this is part of our family’s home rather than a scheduled attraction, these garden walks are shared with resident guests whenever time allows for both the host and the guests.
